Election of the Committee.

An Executive Committee of 15 members and 7 expectant members was appointed by election according to the standing orders of the Conference. Each nationality was duly accorded its quota of appointees. The Chinese have 4 representatives viz. Lau Yat Wa of the Commercial Co-operative Society, Chan Ying of the Labour Department of the Special Municipal Bureau, Ping Sau Shan of the Rickshaw Coolies' Union, and Cheung Shim

Wa of the Wharf Coolies' Union. There are 11 Indian members

on the Executive Committee, Rehna Singh, Jewan Singh, Launa Singh, Miyan Singh, Harnam Singh, Parkher Singh, Lila Singh, Channan Singh, Rattan Singh and Dalel Singh. Of the expectant members on the Executive Committee 2 are Chinese, Tong Hoi Luk and Wong Tik Chan and 5 are Indians, Hardit Singh, Hariman (?) Singh, Hakm Singh, Chhittar Singh and Mokundar(?) Singh.
